Chongqing Yorkshire THE RING Shopping Park is the first landing project of Hong Kong Land Holdings Limited’s new commercial brand "THE RING" series, and the first wholly-owned commercial real estate project in Southwestern China. From November 26, 2015 to April 23, 2021, more than 20,000 people and 300+ teams participated in the construction and it took 1975 days and nights. The architectural design was undertaken by the award-winning British Pai Ang International Architectural Design Consultants Co., Ltd. (PHA), and the landscape design was undertaken by ASPECT Studios, which has won multiple international awards. The THE RING Shopping Park is located on Chongqing Metro Line 5 and Line 15 (under construction) Chongguang Station is located in the core business district of Chongqing Liangjiang New District, adjacent to the high-end residential area of Landmark Yorkshire next to Zhaomushan Park, with convenient transportation to the whole city.
As the first work in Hong Kong Land's new "THE RING" series, the highly anticipated Chongqing THE RING shopping park opened on April 23, 2021. This project breaks through the limitations of traditional space and combines people with retail, nature, culture and experience. Chongqing THE RING Shopping Park (Yorkville-The Ring) has an indoor green garden of 42 meters across 7 floors and a social space with interactive themes, providing Chongqing with unprecedented attractions.
The total construction area is 430,000 square meters, of which 170,000 square meters are shopping malls. It is divided into seven floors (five floors above ground and two floors underground). All the corridor entrances and exits of sightseeing floors are controlled by Shenzhen Turboo Automation. It’s a great honor for us to participate in Chongqing THE RING Shopping Park Project.
The innovative design method of THE RING Shopping Park combines the beauty of the natural environment with experiential retail to provide the community with a unique, healthy and diverse lifestyle. The opening of the THE RING Shopping Park also marks the successful completion of the cooperation project between Turboo and Hongkong Land.
